Resources Offered

  • Technology, including tablets, laptops, and prepaid wi-fi hotspots.

  • School supplies, including backpacks, pencil & pens, notebooks, erasers, paper, folders, highlighters, calculators, and hand sanitizer.

How We Identify Students In Need

We partner with other civic-minded organizations, educational institutions, and educators to help identify students that may benefit from our resources.  We also seek to inform communities of our work through marketing efforts.

How Students Qualify For Our Program

Students may qualify for our program if their household/primary caregiver is able to demonstrate that they are currently receiving federal or state assistance through one of the following social safety nets:

  • General welfare programs such as Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)

  • Food assistance programs such as Food Stamp Program/SNAP and Women, Infant and Children Food Program (WIC)

  • Medical assistance programs such as Medicaid

  • Housing assistance programs such as Section 8 Housing

  • Please note that participation in any named or unnamed program does not guarantee assistance from Supply Our Students, Inc.

Minority students from lower income households are far less likely to have access to a computer and the internet at home (data provided by USAFACTS* and National Center For Education Statistics)
